Headway Brain Injury Association
We provide information and education for people with brain injury and their families so they can better understand the implications of the injury.
The regional Brain Injury Associations, through the liaison service, provide a range of practical assistance;
Advocacy, Prevention Education Promotion Support Information Information and education for people with brain injury and their families so they can better understand the implications of the injury
Monthly – Education Learning Sessions
Support groups – Monthly – Women’s, Mens, Social Outing
Assistance and advocacy support in liaising with ACC, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social Development, Work & Income and other government or associated agencies
Information or assistance to obtain the appropriate professional help or service
Various social activities are run throughout the year, for example, Fund Raising Appeal and Awareness Week.
Through Headway BOP you may be able to access Outward Bound courses, camps and sponsored holiday accommodation.
