Brain Injured Children Trust

The Brain Injured Children Trust is a national Charity that provides practical, financial, social and emotional support to families who have chosen to undergo an intensive home-based therapy program.
In the past these children were given a limited prognosis for the future and were not expected to walk and talk. Today we know that the human brain is extremely adaptable and recovery or significant improvement from injury is possible, if appropriate interventions/ therapies (NDTP – Neuro Developmental Therapy Programs) are applied and critical development takes place during the first few years of life .
We provide members with access to:
  • Practical, physical and emotional support.
  • Financial assistance to access supports not available to them through any other funding.
  • Resources and equipment.
  • Experience, knowledge and expertise from other families on the same journey.
  • Neuro-Developmental Therapy Programs advice.
