BoP Multiple Sclerosis Society

The BoP Multiple Sclerosis Society was established to provide care and support to the people in the Eastern and Western Bay of Plenty with ms and other allied neurological conditions and their families.
This service is delivered through information provision and social work services, which encompasses one on one support, group support, family support, advocacy, exercise groups and community education when and where it is needed.
Our organisation is the only one providing this specialist service in the Bay of Plenty.
We are an independent Incorporated Society employing a Fieldworker who works out of our Tauranga office and a part-time Administrator.
A small portion of our operating budget comes from Ministry of Health funding while the huge remainder is generated by the fundraising efforts of the volunteer committee and donations from local charitable groups and Gaming Trusts. The Society is very thankful for the generous support we receive from within our community and would like to acknowledge that without this on going help the Society could not be able to continue providing service.
