OPTIONZ Brain Rehabilitation & Recovery Trust’s purpose is to walk alongside people living with brain injury, providing a professional, responsive and innovative rehabilitation service which promotes independence and quality of life.
OPTIONZ Brain Rehabilitation & Recovery Trust wishes to make a difference in the lives of people affected by brain injury, which will improve quality of life and increase independence to the maximum ability of the client. Clients are invited to participate in a structured rehabilitation programme which will be based on individual needs, goals and abilities. All clients will be treated equitably and assisted to reach their full potential resulting in increased community participation and integration.
Our programmes are built around community participation and inclusion. All clients are assessed on admission and an individual rehabilitation programme is developed to meet their individual needs and goals.
The programme is varied with many different groups and activities to choose from. Some of the things we include are:
- Communication skills
- Cognitive skills
- Computer classes
- Independent living skills – cooking, budgeting, shopping
- Transport and getting around
- Sports
- Mens groups
- Womens groups
- Work readiness
All programmes are overseen by qualified health professionals. Eligibility will be discussed on enquiry.
